Passive house builders provide 2 and 3 dimensional thermal bridge modelling services for companies and architects who wish to assess heat loss calculations on junctions other than the ACD or Accepted Construction Details.

The need to model thermal bridge is now being understood as a way of minimising heat losses without the expense of additional insulation. When thermal bridge modelling is carried out it may substantially improve the BER and SAP ratings.
